Stacking tower beacons – also known as andon lights, are ideally suited to multi-status signalling applications such as machinery, to draw attention to fault conditions and warning messages.
A modular stack approach enables stacks of lights to be constructed from any combination of colour and function type of visual indicators and sounds. A huge benefit of the modular construction of these towers is it allows quick removal of the unit for maintenance purposes, minimising disruption in the workplace.
D G Controls SA Stacking Towers are easily assembled as they have a simple twist and click locking mechanism. The vertical interlocking system incorporates the electrical connections, enabling the end-user to assemble a choice of tower simply and quickly.
These towers are IP65 rated when used without a sounder and IP54 rated when used with a sounder. All external parts are moulded from engineering-grade, UV-stabilised polycarbonate material for enhanced durability.
They are completely modular and can be used as a single indicator or multi-stacked, each tower can have a maximum of six modules. We offer various modules to this tower:
π¨ BCSA Module
The base and top cap, this is base mounted. One BCSA module is required per tower.
π¨ PSA/LED Module
This LED module is multi-function and multi-voltage.
8 mode multi-function consisting of: Static/Standard Pulse/Slow Pulse/Fast Pulse/Triple Flash/Random Flash/Strobe Flash/Rotating.
Available in DC12v and multi-voltage 24-230v AC/DC.
π¨ XSA Module
A xenon flash module, available in voltages DC12-24v, AC115v and AC230v.
π¨ ASA Sounder Module
This sounder module is IP54 rated, multi-tone and multi-voltage.
Can be configured to 1 of 4 tone patterns.
Runs on voltages 12-230v AC/DC.
